Happy 9th Birthday Final Fantasy XV!

Here are some throwbacks for those of you who’ve been following since it’s birth:

  • It was Originally called Final Fantasy Versus XIII and it was announced in 2006 for Ps3, and expected to release ‘not too long’ after Final Fantasy XIII. (in retrospect, LO-fucking-L)
  • There was a LONG period of time in which we did not know Noctis’ name. For the longest, fans were simply calling him “Storm” or “the Prince” to refer to him
  • Noctis’ design has changed several time. In fact this what the squad used to look like:

  • All The characters have undergone significant changes
  • Noctis’ hair used to be longer than it is now 
  • Noctis was originally able to wield guns. This may still be a feature in the game, but speculation strongly indicates this has been removed. 

All in all, It’s been a Long time coming. Almost there.
