I am so seriously stressed out idek. we got a note from our apartment manager that pretty much said they figured out we have more cats than two (the lease max) and we have to fix it “immediately” for “health and sanitation reasons”. Right now we have four cats, all of which are fixed, vaccinated, clean, and well-behaved. One’s a foster we took out of an unhealthy environment and she’s an easy fix since that situation has rectified and she can go back to her original home but…then…that leaves us with the decision of homing one of our kittens.. probably Harvey since he’s the most independent but…..the worst part is we’re moving by summer to a place we’ll be able to keep them all but I don’t know what to do about a temp home, as there’s really no one to take him. It’s just upsetting since we also paid the out the roof pet-fee when we moved in and it’s not like our place is at all dirty or damaged by these animals. We do have a last-ditch plan that he can stay at our friend’s house but it’s not ideal since he’d pretty much be left /alone/ (the friend doesn’t really stay at her house) with several other animals and fff it’s dumb to worry so hard I’m sure but I can’t help feeling upset about it. Throw on top of the pile that I’m not even sure how we’re going to pay our friggin rent this month and I just… I feel like pulling my hair out. Fuuuu
