Tabata claims FFXV’s villain will top Sephiroth, Kuja, Kefka, and Caius:
During the Active Time Report for Final Fantasy XV today at Gamescon 2015, Square Enix’s own Hajime Tabata (who serves as the director for the game) took fan questions about the highly anticipated title.
One fan question asked whether Final Fantasy XV would have a villain in the likes of the respective villains from Final Fantasy VI, VII, IX, and XIII-2 (as you can see above). Tabata responded “He will be revealed at a later time but he will top all of them”.
This is a pretty bold statement to make this early but only time will tell.
