aaahhh so much misinformation about the net neutrality stuff

you WILL end up having to pay for it but in a very roundabout way, it’s going to make ISPs able to make companies who provide content pay them to use their intertubes freely

and of course companies won’t want/be able to do that so your ISP can slow down say, netflix to a crawl and offer “tiered service” to you, where if you want netflix at an acceptable speed you have to pay $10/month more or something.

they basically want to make the internet like cable TV and offer subscription packages to certain sites/services, why? because cable TV is donkey balls and they’re getting trampled by net streaming and like two companies own the majority of the internet infrastructure in this godforsaken country and refuse to upgrade it cause why should they? they have a monopoly. the end
