Just rewatched the Dr. Who Christmas special for the second time since last night I really for some reason could not tell what the flying fuck was going on (thought it might’ve been the rum and coke I was sipping haha).

Turns out on second rewatch it honest wasn’t a lot better. Why are reviews for this episode so good? Because we love Matt so hard? Am I just missing something? The last five minutes were wonderful and I’m SO glad they explained how he’s going to have more regenerations and oh my god I had tears with Amy and just aahhh perfect goodbye. The rest of the episode though? Really? Maybe it’s just me but it seemed confusing, rushed, and kind of a disappointing mess. Oh well I’m also just glad they cleared up that 12/13 numbering debacle haha. Bring it on Peter Capaldi!
